KVH (Konstruktionsvollholz) is solid construction timber, kiln-dried to 15 ± 3 %, planed on four sides, with chamfered edges, finger-jointed for lengths of up to 13 m. Graded C24 under EN 15497 / EN 14081. It is the standard choice for rafters, slim purlins and floor joists: straight, no twisting, ready to install.

Standard lengths 5 / 8 / 13 m; we cut to your length. The 150×50 and 120×60 sections in 13 m are usually in stock at the supplier.
KVH or ordinary sawn timber?
Ordinary sawn timber is cheaper, but it is air-dried or only partly dried and can twist after installation. KVH is kiln-dried and calibrated: on long rafters and on any element that is visible or hard to replace, the price difference is recovered at installation.
