How it works — three layers
GEO — the interface
GEO talks with you: it asks for what is missing (the pitch as a number, the lengths along the slope, what is on the roof), reads the sketch or the photos, confirms the geometry with you on a drawing and does not let you leave with half the data. Interactive communication, not a form.
The calculation system
From the confirmed data, our quoting engine draws the panel layout (each roof slope divided into sheets, with their lengths), works out the complete bill of materials — tiles, membrane, battens, bent accessories, rainwater system, consumables — rounded to the delivery lengths, and calculates the price at the manufacturer’s list price and the day’s exchange rate. The same method used to calculate the 16 public simulations on the site.
The human
A Top Roofing specialist checks the geometry, the quantities and the price before the quote goes out to you. Whatever is unusual about your roof — a pitch below the minimum, dormers, wings — reaches them; it is not hidden inside an “automatic” figure.

How we got here
From the site. For years, every quote started from a hand sketch, a notebook of dimensions and a calculation done in the evening. The most expensive mistake is not the price but the panel layout: one sheet missing at the factory or ten too many on site.
We wrote the method down. How to measure along the slope, how to divide each roof slope into sheets, how to round to the delivery lengths, which accessories go with what. Then we turned it into a calculation engine and checked it against our real quotes, line by line, until it gave the same figures.
We put GEO at the front and the human at the end. GEO collects the data from you without forms and leaves no gaps; the engine calculates; a specialist checks. That is how we arrived at one path that every request follows, the same way, whether it is a garage or a hipped-roof house.
